Just before Christmas, 11.12.18, me and my husband were invited to present our long-standing collaboration with Yung-Che Tseng and other Taiwanese friends at the 20th anniversary of the DAAD "project related person exchange" programme. Beside me giving a case study talk, it was a great opportunity for us all to see all our friends again, to visit Kenting for a few days, enjoy the weather and the food, and for our kids to be reminded why it is useful to keep speaking Chinese to their dad.

It was great to be back.
